Shoulder Of Mutton Inn

We went for Sunday lunch to The Shoulder fof Mutton and what a lovely experience it was. Had forgotten just how welcoming a traditional country pub could be.Ther was a friendly but not noisey atmosphere, the food was beautiful and the staff helpful and willing. Will be returning as soon as possible!

Great Black Sheep Bitter and very good staff.

The food here is first class; I was in the area with work on a course for 5 weeks and discovered this place on our second week. After which we wined and dinned here most evenings. The choice of food was fabulous with a specials board that changes daily. The food is definitely Michelin Star Quality, which is on par with the friendly and welcoming staff. It has a very villagey feel to this Restaurant/Bar, we took part in the Pub Quiz, as relative strangers to the place we were made to feel very welcome by all patrons and staff. I would whole heartedly recommend eating in this establishment, I would go out of my way to eat in here if you can and beats any establishment in Richmond. The Proprietors Kevin and Fran could not do enough for all their guests and I would like to take this time to thank them for their hospitality, and wish them all the success in the future.

new management good quality food and i really like the old world decor the new owners are a great improvement and make you really welcome would recommend for the food and company. Much better option for a stop off and rest break if travelling on the a1 than the local scotch corner services too.
