Review of Gastro Deli from 17 November 2011

Maybe I’ve been to another place than other reviewers. I thought it was understaffed, poorly managed and unimaginative. Rubbish when there is so much to choose from in Chester.

chestertourist I am not sure if it is under new managemet now

Review of Gastro Deli from 7 March 2011

We were visiting Chester on a Uni open day and stumbled upon the Gastro Deli while looking for somewhere in town for breakfast. What an excellent find! Good food, friendly & attentive staff, and reasonable prices. If I lived in Chester this would be a regular haunt.

Review of Gastro Deli from 1 March 2011

A little gem, delicious, well presented food. Great value for money in a very friendly atmosphere.

Will build time into my next trip in to Chester to visit again.

Review of Gastro Deli from 4 February 2011

We regularly attend the Gastro Deli for Breakfast or Lunch - The staff, Food and service is excellent. Value for money (unusual in Chester town Center) and well presented. Just finished my Friday breakfast sandwich - Can't recommend enough - and I've been to a few places in Chester previously!!

Review of Gastro Deli from 2 September 2010

Visited this newish cafe (been open for about two years now) located on the back streets in the centre of Chester several times. It is located on Commonhall Street down an entry off Bridge Street just down from the Cross on the opposite side to Eastgate Street. Perfectly located away from the crowds of shoppers on Bridge Street, the Gastro Cafe offers an excellent range of snacks and sandwiches. Excellent seating is provided in this small but well kept cafe. The outside seating catches the afternoon sun and provides a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy your food and drink. Several magazines are provided for you to read like Cheshire Life and In and Out. The tables and floor were spotlessly clean each time I visited. The decor is bright and modern.
