I love this shop, it's friendly, stocks many of my organic/ethical food needs, slightly cheaper (in some cases, much cheaper) than another well known eco shop in Aber (please don't use this info to put your prices up), so the owner is not trying to rake it in, just making a living and providing a service as far as I can tell.  I've put pricey because all the ethical foods are, for some strange reason, but as a consumer I truly believe that you choose what you buy, and you make a difference in doing so, not only to your families' health but to the products on offer, who gets the bulk of the wage (the farmer..), and it sends a message to the other food suppliers who aren't really that bothered about quality or ethical sourcing.  I'm digressing a bit.  I'd recommend this to anyone, including my mother, who is moving to the area soon, so i will.  Well done and thank you.

I overheard the owner telling a customer she was going to have her cows killed for beef, this must be disappointing for her vegan/vegetarian customers.

As long as she doesn’t try to flog said beef to those vegan/vegetarian customers, I’m sure they won’t be too disappointed.

A goodd health food shop in Aberystwyth.

I like the sugar-free musli they do or you can mix your own musli. I buy millet flakes here, oranic wines, etc. The organic rolls or cakes by the till are very good! Weleda oils and soaps are in stock. I get my Ecover products here. GREAT SOUPS!

An alternative to the Treehouse certainly but the Treahouse does better fruit and veg.
