So, to give them one star regardless just like HSBC, Natwest, Barclays and the other banks is just plain mean spirited. Join this bank, it's the best thing you'll do this week.

And you are a karmic toad for having the gall and time to comment on my personal experience. Talking about growing up….seemingly no mirrors left in your humble abode….

The fact that you went out of your way to sign up for this site just to leave a review like that shows that you are evidently a powerless individual, dissatisfied with their life.
There are many people like you and the only way you can feel in control is to get back at the world somehow.
You need to take control of your life. Take responsibility for your own failings and stop blaming other people.
You need to address your anger issues. You’ll feel a lot better, believe me.

I was simply warning other people about the risk of receiving a similar poor service. That is taking positive action.
What have you done for the world lately? Wasting your and my time, with assumptions, trivial advice and ignorant opinions? Not lot of good Karma coming from you lately.
So, please do me a favour, heed your own advice and don’t feel so angry about other people’s comments. Address your own issues and you will feel a lot better and less inclined to waste more of your life, sending others unnecessary emails. -

Calm down, occidic. I rest my case!
I love this bank. I opened an acount with them about a year ago out of curiosity as they are just by my work and the difference to HSBC is unreal. Nothing is too much of a problem for them, once I lost my debit card and you can go in and get a new one immediately over the counter. Plus they have a coin counting machine for all of my coppers. Everyone is friendly aswell, and its really handy that they ar open after work as it means i dont have to run out in my lunchbreak. Ive told all of my colleagues adn some of them have opened accounts, worth checking out as they actually seem to want my custom.

What a load of twaddle. Your wheel chair would scare the dogs in the branch? Keep dogs in the bank do they? You are an imbecile, sir.

i went in to the metro bank my name is john, i am disabled so i took in my disability letter and passport, the staff was very helpful, and very friendly, they done a credit check on me and told me that i have passed for a current account and if i deposit 50 pounds in to account i can pick a gift out of choice of 4 gifts, umbrella, sandwich toaster, cool box bag, or blanket. they printed debit card out straight away, so i left the branch with my debit card , paperwork and free umbrella. the next day i had all my benefits paid in to this bank, anyway 2 days went by i went to use my debit card in shop and it did not work so i called the bank, they said that my account is closed down and they made a business decision to close me down. has i could not draw my money out has they blocked my card. they phoned me and said they will have to transfer my money to completely close it. i give them my friend bank account details and he transfered it. 3 days went by and i had a letter saying i owe them £ 17.50 for transfer of money costs. i phoned them and they told me its because they transfered the money. what could i do has they blocked my card, the only option was to transfer to friends bank. please avoid this bank, theyare messers.

Yes, you’ll get a long way taking a bank to court if you’re on benefits…. Why don’t you use your time sensibly and get a job?
