Review of Café Mayer from 18 November 2012

Very bad experience, think twice before you go there. I read the positive reviews on Qype and decided to checkout the place with my girlfriend. Cafe meyer is very small, one room with 6-7 tables, we found a table for two and waited...the old lady kept ignoring us and asking people who came after us for their order, she wouldnt even respond to us. Anyway we ended up leaving tue place after being ignored. Total bullshiy!

What a great café! Everything here is so nice, neat, well curated and full of passion and dedication that is really hard not to be amazed by it. Have a look at the furniture, the atmosphere, the manners of the people who are running it and you'll get it from the git go. Everything is made by the ladies who run the place, they've got a breakfast and lunch menu and usually 3 or 4 different types of cakes. Waiting time can be a bit longer that usual, since there's usually just one person and she's got to do everything: take the order, possibly cook it and serve it. So be patient, it definitely worths it. I can absolutely recommend it, but be aware that if you're up to get a quick coffee and go it might not be the right place for you.
