The Beauty Parlour, Leith, Edinburgh

I visited the Beauty Parlour for leg/bikini/underarm wax. I found Ann to be very professional, efficient and you immediately feel very relaxed and at ease in the cosy surroundings and Ann herself is very pleasant and genuinely friendly. I was very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend Ann to friends/family. I will certainly be visiting the Beauty Parlour in future.

Wow!! What a massage session - I can honestly say this was the best I've had in over 12 years. It even beats the 5* hotel massage I had in Australia!

I bought the Groupon voucher for a visit to this salon, and I was so impressed I am planning to go back. I was a little late but Ann was very understanding and not at all cross.

The Genie face-lift thingy was weird but I just kept feeling all giggly! Hubby even noticed the change in my face!

If Ann's as good at everything else she offers, and I see no reason why she wouldn't be, then this has to be a gem of a Beauty Parlour. Good luck to her and I look forward to returning there soon.

I really like this salon as it as relaxed and friendly. Ann is extremely welcoming and puts you at ease immediately. I have had quite a few treatments here and love the dermalogica products she uses for the facial. I also like the fact that she advises you on what treatments or products would be good but there is no hard sell or pressure to buy. Having been to other salons in the past I would always come back here because the prices are reasonable and the quality as high as an expensive high street salon. It is always a treat coming here. This is down to her approachable personality and years of experience in the industry

I have been going to Ann at The Beauty Parlour for about 5 years.
The treatments are all of extremely high quality (I have tried almost all!), but what sets it apart from all of the other places I have tried is the friendly personal service....it has the X factor!

Ann will bend over backwards to fit you in for a wax if you desperately need one for a last minute holiday, or find time to give you the best massage ever if you are tense and stressed.

I have recommended Ann's beauty parlour to several friends and family members who now also enjoy the same exceptional service.

After trying a few places for leg waxing, etc. when I first moved to Edinburgh, I settled on this one. Ann, the owner, is really friendly and approachable if you're new to a treatment. She's also really accommodating, as I've a few times been a little late for my appointment. Given a quick phone call though she managed to rearrange another client and fit me in later.

The salon is in the back room on the ground floor of the family home, so you might meet a cat or daughter if, on a rare occasion, you have to wait for a few minutes. Once you step into the salon though, it's completely professional and you're in good, competent, qualified hands (more than I can say for some of the places I've tried).

Ann offers a range of treatments and I can highly recommend her pampering full body massage, which after a particularly hard month or two completely relaxed and de-stressed me!
