Best fishcakes ever. Super crispy crunchy breadcrumby outside and loads of fluffy potato and haddock inside. Clearly homemade with delicious home made tartare sauce. Service is very good and friendly and I love their Cotswold ice creams. Sticky toffee fudge flavour. Can you believe it!! This girl's in heaven.

A lovely Mothers day treat. Best potted crab I can remembr. A trip down memory lane. Delicous roast and umyy puddings. Good service and they were excellent at looking after my grandchildren.

Went to the Ben Jonson pub for a meal on a Saturday evening as we were staying in a nearby B&B. Having read positive reviews about it, it did not disappoint. We had a lovely meal; the service was very good and the place itself was very cosy and a nice relaxing setting. It wasn't very busy but this didn't detract from the ambience. Good value for the standard of cooking; the portions were very generous! The sticky toffee pudding was particularly good. Would recommend.

We come here every year. We come because it is a lovely old thatched pub with a cosy feel. Now it has the food and beer to go with it. You can really tell that they care about what they do rather than just saying it. Home cooked and delicious. Locally sourced too, all the way through from cheese and ice cream to beer and wine. Can't wait for next year.

We were staying at the hotel down the road and were so pleased to find this village pub. The hotel is lovely, but the food wasn't really to our taste and the food at this pub is just perfect. Added to the fact that my husband got to try all the local real ales and the puddings made from fruit from their own garden!
