I found TWENTY TEN on Google but didn't call for an appointment for more than two months.
Then, in June (last year), I was feeling lazy and needed a shapeup, so I called in, talked to the receptionist, and asked to stop by and meet the stylist who was the best at short hair. She recommended Louise, and made an appointment for the next day. I then called back, and I realized I was not too far from the place, and asked could I stop by and see some style books. She said no problem and said that she would make sure I met Louise when I arrived. I met her, she was nonchalant (but pleasant), and then I sat there for nearly an hour, listening and observing. I didn't want to hear hair-shop drama or gossip, nor see clients lined up waiting for stylists, and I DIDN'T! Whew - ok, so I will come back tomorrow.
Louise paid great attention to detail, is articulate, easy to talk to, and very talented. I like her gusto for life, and his professionalism. Plus she cut my hair just right. I don't like lots of product on my hair, and she respected that. The color process she did was beautiful - I wanted to go lighter, but she talked me out of it, and promised to go lighter later - better for the hair.
I have now been back four times, and am very pleased with the services. I am a regular now . . .

I bought a Groupon for highlights and a cut with a 'director'. I drove into Oxford at 9am on a Saturday for my appointment only to find the salon closed (it was their North Parade branch which looks as though it's still being refurbished) so it was a wasted trip. When I called they said the stylist had been off sick all week (even though I had called to confirm two days before) plus they had me down as a completely different name.
They said the manager would call me on Monday to rebook - I never heard from them. When I called them they said they could do the colour with a stylist (I had paid extra for a director) before Christmas but they couldn't fit me in for the cut. I took the appointment but then had second thoughts and decided to go elsewhere. When I called to cancel the second appointment they couldn't even find the appointment in the system so if I had turned up it would have been a wasted trip again. Unbelievable!
All in all a very frustrating and disappointing experience - best avoided.

It took her less than to complete the haircut. It was a disaster. Nothing like I asked. I’m very disappointed and I’ll never be coming back to your salon. To be honest I’m surprised how you run your business with this kind of “stylists”

I was surprised at the price, i was expecting al ot more due to the excellent service and this is by far the best value for money hairdressers in Oxford.

Had colour, cut and blow dry from louise and it exceeded my expectations; even down to the blow dry. So happy with my new hair colour and the cut which has given my hair a new lease of life. Would highly recommend.

Faboulous and friendly service. Excellent value for money and always make you feel welcome.I wouldn't go anywhere else.

After reading the reviews below i was very nearly put off going into the salon but the good reviews out weigh the bad so thought i would give it a go. The staff were very friendly and helpful when i went in to book i was greeted by a small blonde girl (very polite) offered a drink (that came with a biscuit) :) and asked to take a seat just a few minutes later i was greeted by my hairdresser called holly. she listened to what i wanted and offered some very good advice. overall i am very happy with the results, costumer service and the price i will definatley be returning.

Went there on Friday 13th 2012 and booked with a Junior. I tried to rebook with a Director that day but was told they were fully booked. The Junior was NOT ready to be cutting people’s hair and charging a fee. She started off by snipping a small amount from the back of my hair, and then she got the hairdryer. I said “surely you haven’t finished cutting yet” and she said she wanted to see how my hair sat before cutting. She then snipped randomly with no thought for style or a decent cut. The salon looked tatty and I likened it to a £10 cutting shop. I won’t be going back as it was NOT a good experience!

I booked a haircut at the end of March and found that the young lady who styled my hair to be most helpful in helping me to make a change to my normal style, the atmosphere in the salon was unhurried and the whole service pleasant.
I left feeling very happy and was pleased to pay much lass than my normal salon. I will return again to my new regular hairdresser.

Made an appointment. Went there and got told that the hairdresser is absent but no phone calls to let me know whatsoever. The girl, I guessed not well-trained, who washed my hair was pathetic she does not know how to give a proper hairwash- the back of my neck nor my whole scalp was not washed thoroughly as when i left the salon the dried bits from bleaching products was still there and on the side of my face. PLUS after she blew dry my hair she did not even comb and style it she made me leave with roughly dried and tangled hair!However, JUST the staff with red hair seemed sophisticated if you get her then you’ll be fine, but other than that i did not experienced a good service because other staffs are so poorly trained you wouldnt trust them with your beloved hair would you.

Great place in a very easy to get to location! They did an AMAZING job. I got color, as well as a drastic haircut and they not only made my hair look wonderful, but also made the process of cutting off several inches of hair and completely changing the colour seem way less scary. The color is exactly what I wanted, and what we talked about before she started, and the cut does great things for my face. The atmosphere and music is comfortable, and everyone was friendly and professional. I was even offered more then one drink while I waited for the color to set. Overall great experience, and I’m looking forward to my complimentary trim in a few weeks. Liked: Service, Haircut, Value for money, Atmosphere, Location

I have been looking for the PERFECT place to get my haircut because I am insanely picky about my hair.. I finally tried the twenty ten salon and was absolutely blown away.louise she is the director her price is reasonable. She did EXACTLY what I asked listened to everything I said and made suggestions to fit my face, personality, and style. I couldn’t be happier. She truly gave me the haircut of my dreams and I feel sexier, confident, and thrilled with my new look

I’ve only ever used barbers before but fancied a treat and went to TwentyTen and have never looked back. Everything is set up to make the customer to feel welcome. Short waiting times, free drink with your haircut and really friendly service. They also do amazing student offers!

I am so happy I found this salon on google!!!! I called to ask for the price of a haircut and the lady said £35 but first time clients get 25% off, so i only pay £27!!! Sounds sketchy because of the price but trust me…ITS NOT!!!! And a realy good one!!! WOW!!!
This salon is just amazing! i felt right at home,everybody is so nice and truly about hair and GOOD hair. Not like other salons that are just like factories and just want to charge you!
Highly recommend this salon!!!!!
