Aubin & Wills

Aubin & Wills sell high quality womens and mens fashion as well as homewares. Some of the products are a little overpriced, but they make some good classic pieces that are worth investing in. The brand gives off a sort of “high country living for hipsters” vibe, but that’s what I like about it. Underneath Aubin & Wills is its in-house cinema that showcases box office hits as well as independent foreign films along with an art gallery. The cinema is definitely worth going to, after a spot of shopping (or browsing) upstairs, of course. :)

Housed in an originally, disused warehouse space off the beaten track in East London, Aubin & Wills is all about quality, country and high-living. I believe unlike the Notting Hill store, this branch houses an art gallery and cinema and is much more of a fashion and lifestyle experience than anything else I've experienced on the high-street recently.

Women's clothing, underwear and accessories are all enticing and made to a high standard (as clever on-brand messaging on more affordable smaller gifts purchases continually reminds you!) Mens and homeware are in the same vain and are attractive, comfortable, but seem ever-so overpriced for the current climate of belt-tightening.

Having said that, I have no doubt a clothing purchase from A&W would last you a very long time and be a worthwhile investment. It's just a shame the white ladies casual shirt and long line tangerine vest I tried on didn't do me any favours. There's definitely a top tip there - everything looks great on the shelf (hanger), but do try before you part with your hard-earned!
