This places sells itself on its burgers being a bit special so you might expect them to be. On our visit, not so much. My husband’s burger bun was completely burnt inside and the fries tasted funny - like old oil. It may just have been not to our taste, but it didn’t really hit the mark for us.
I had a very nice milkshake there and the desserts looked good. I’m not a fan of 'gourmet junk food’ but given the choice I would choose a good pizza express over the best burger I think. Location wise - easy to find and handy for the shops etc, so ok for a quick lunch. Service was very good.

It seems strange to be writing a review of a burger bar - after all, images of McDonalds or grotty little vans at festivals spring to mind when people normally mention burgers.
However, The Ultimate Burger is different. A modern restaurant, where you have menus and cuttlery, first impressions are good. The menu covers beef, lamb, chicken and vegetarian burgers, as well as the usual sides and drinks.
Once we’d ordered the food arrived fairly quickly, although not so quickly that alarm bells rang, and the food was very good. Certainly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Ok, so they’re a bit more expensive than your lcoal Burger King but you do get what you pay for.
Obviously this isn’t the sort of place you’d go for a romantic meal or probably even a birthday bash, but if you’re out and about in London and fancy a decent lunch you could do a lot worse than this place.

I had to go to Wembley last week to watch the football. I was late and my brother and I needed a meal which we could polish off in less 15 mins. We agreed NOT to go to Mcdonalds. After much deliberation we ended up the Ultimate Burger. The staff were quick, helpful and they understood we were in a rush. I don’t think the burgers are quite up to GBK or Fine Burger co., but they got us in and out in 15 mins 55 seconds. Wiping stray bit of lettuce and ketchup from our cheeks, we both agreed that the service was phenomenal, but the burgers need a bit of work.
