The Pirelli Stadium is a fantastic, modern non league football ground that would be the envy of many lower league clubs. At around £10 per adult to stand it is a bit pricy, but Clough Junior has done a superb job and I honestly believe that in a couple of years they will be in the 2nd division.

The ground was officially opened by Sir Alex Ferguson, and we hosted Manchester United in the FA Cup, where a 0-0 draw resulted in a replay at Old Trafford where Burton supplied the largest away contingent ever seen at Manchester United. We got hammered but it was a great night out. And thank you Sir Alex for putting out several big names on each occasion, this gave the players the chance to play against the likes of Rooney and Ronaldo, and the fans the opportunity to see them.
