Not nearly as bad as it could be: not nearly as good as it should be.
The only place in Gatwick where you can get a decent pint (and the choice of beers is generally pretty good) but much too prone to filling up with teams of drunken stag weekenders and often so busy it resembles a tube train at rush hour.

Having read previous reviews, we were going to have breakfast here. However, at 6 am the place was already full of noisy rowdy blokes in football shirts getting tanked up on lager, so we didn't bother.

Service quick and efficient. Staff loud and irritating. Female members singing (poorly) together and discussing intimate details of private life and work matters at the top of their voices. I don't particularly care who they fancy, need to know who has to work until close, and those who are able to lock up and those who aren't. Resembled more of a youth club for the staff. I don't expect the to work in silence but when people can't hear what you are saying during a phone conversation due to their shrieking it is incredibly annoying.

great place to chill out with a cool one and a meal before you fly recommend the breakfast, frindly service nice base as my partner can enjoy a pint i can shop at duty free come back for a glass of wine its our first stop all part of our holiday.

OMG!!! I would not recommend it. just try some other places... It's empty, normal food, OK prices and there isn't much else I can say about this place really.
2/5... Nothing else, if you literally are so starving you could eat a Red Lion (dodgy pun), try it. If not, definitely try the infinitely better Pret a Manger or Mcdonald's.

Fast friendly service in this traditional Wetherspoon pub! Try the Red Lion Ale or London Pride. Now opening earlier at 3.30am which was great for an early breakfast
