I’ve been coming to Kayal for years. Unlike other restaurants I feel Kayal treats their customers with excellent service and I feel so welcomed everytime. The authentic south Indian food is beyond delicious and the atmosphere is warm and comforting, with great service. Kayal special Thali was very different compared to regular Thali meals in many other restaurants. I am sure that you will definitely revisit it if tried once.

Business takes me to lemington spa often and I have eaten at many of the city centre restaurants. With my family, I arrived there late one evening and based on the many positive reviews here we decided to try kayal as a change from the other Indian restaurants in that area. Although entirely "chance" customers, we were delighted by the welcoming...

We have eaten in most of the Indian Restaurants in leamington spa and 'The Kayal' stands out as the best, and the only one we have returned to. We enjoy the cosy, warm and relaxed atmosphere of the upper level dining area and the friendly service (on our second visit the staff recognised us from our previous visit 3 months earlier...

By far one of the best meals I have ever had. The staff is amazingly attentive, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the food matches. My next trip to Leamington spa will be including another visit to Kayal.........

Out in the country this restaurant has a warm atmosphere with a genuine friendly welcome. The food has plenty of variety (Indian) and is excellent quality. We found the portions to be quite large - so don't over do the side dishes!. The staff were all friendly and we felt very comfortable. A definite restaurant for us to return to.

Nice if you like fish, pretty hopeless if you don't. Cold, noisy and pretty poor quantities.

Our first visit to Kayal was superb, could recommend it to anyone - great atmosphere, service very good and staff attentive to make our meal a real unique experience. The fish was amazing quality to say we were in Leamington, not on the coast, either in England or further afield! This restaurant appears to be well located in Leamington as it is so different to all the other Indian/Asian restaurants in this town Well done, keep up the good work

- Kayal restaurant is must try experience for south indian food lovers. Took my hard to please family there for dinner last night and everyone left with smiles on their face .Raving about the quality of the food excellent service and hospitable personality of the staff .Kayal is much more high end than your typical indian restaurants and we appreciate it! Highly recommended.

Went to Kayal in Leamington Spa and was very impressed. The decor is fabulous and it's a real gem of a place. I defy anyone not to be wowed by the surroundings. Food was lovely (I recommend the duck) and to top it all, there was a special opening offer of a free glass of wine with the voucher! Highly recommended as a place for a date or a special occasion.

1st impressions were good for our Thursday night curry club meeting. The restaurant is bright and airy with a contempory feel specialising in Kerala cuisine. Im not so sure that the vintage motorcycle parked at one of the tables really adds to the place though.
We started with pappodoms, we shared two baskets between 4 of us which comes to £8.00, portions sizes were poor, the pickles were on the whole disappointing with one particularly sad flavourless coconut pot.
We moved on to the starters, I had the Vada, a sort of doughnut with pickles, this was disappointing my companions were equally unimpressed with their startes.
The mains saved the evening, my curry and rice was excellent though portion sizes were on the poor side and the breads were very expensive for what they were I prefer normal Indian Naan breads.
Cost for the evening £100 between 4 (6 pints of beer).
Would we go again? probably not
