Be hungry when you hit this joint. The restaurant occupies the former space of a Weihenstephan Biergarten so the Brazilian style decor is a bit of a stretch. The house specialty is Southern Brazilian meats served directly from the spit to your table. There are seven different meats which are served at intervals. There’s also a buffet table with various (for lack of a Portugese word) anti-pasti of varying sorts. You’ll want to go light on this table (and also on the pomme frites), otherwise you’ll never finish all seven meat dishes.

Anyway, the main attraction is the grilled meat and you get lots for your money; all you can eat in fact. I struggled to finish the seven courses and I go a good 225 lbs. Didn’t look at the wines but an excellent Duckstein beer was only €2.50 which is quite reasonable.

I give them 8 out of 10 for the meat, 6.5 out of ten for the buffet, 10 out of 10 for the bier, and only 5 out of 10 for ambiance and service (hey, I’m picky). All in all an enjoyable experience and I’d definitely go back.
