This restaurant is very charming. We walked in to have dinner here tonight and it was almost empty.
The style is very idiosyncratic with big cartwheel windows at the back and lots of curious additions on the wall, including two paintings of abstract nudie ladies.
The location is very convienient as it’s right next to London Bridge. This is also a problem as every few minutes you hear trains rumbling above you and you realise this restaurant was probably at one point a railway vault.
I had the seafood risotto, which was glorious. It seemed every forkfull was stuffed full of perfectly done seafoody things. My beau had salmon pasta which he said was so-so but it looked very nice.
The service was very friendly and the prices were ok. They do a lunch deal - £5 for any pizza or pasta, which is excellent value.
