wouldnt go there again as waited for half an hour to place the order and another 1h and 20 mi for the orders to come, bit disorganized, such a shame as Italian food is the best one and every Italian restaurant I;ve been to they all very organized. Food was good but as we all waited so long didnt enjoy it that much

I had friends come to stay for the weekend and was looking for somewhere different to go so took them to Zippers.

The restaurant itself is very attractive and nicely laid out and we had a very large table on the kitchen side of the restaurant. The table was nice and comfortable, but we were nowhere near any air conditioning and it did get a little uncomfortable with the heat which was also coming from the kitchen despite the attractive glass screens.

We ordered a chicken meal, two pasta dishes and a pizza and they were all served very quickly. The only thing I would say is that the pasta dishes were on the small side, they could easily have had about a quarter more in the bowl as they were main courses. The chicken milanese with spaghetti and the pizza were great though.

I would visit again as it had a nice atmosphere and was in a nice spot.

Absolute rubbish!

I have been 3 times now and its steadily gone down hill and today will be the last visit. The service has always been notoriously slow but now the food is so poor I wont be going back. In a half empty restaurant on Fathers day, which should have been sign, it took an hour receive a couple of salads, 2 pasta dishes, plus a basic pizza.

The salads were awful with brown lettuce leaves, no dressing to speak of and some of the ingredients missing. The pasta dishes were bland and over cooked and as for the pizza, how hard is it to cook a cheese and tomato pizza. It tasted like a frozen pizza from a cheap supermarket.

A single mother had to ask for her baby food to be reheated twice and the staff watched as she struggled with the baby in buggy going through the 2 glass entrance doors.

We wont mention the state of the toilets and the dead bug in the napkin...

Overall it was very poor all around and with the attitude of the waitress when we asked for some drinks we wont be going back.

Oh and watch your bill...!!! They can be a bit sneaky with what they charge on the bill...

I'm a regular here, the staff are friendly and the food it's tasty well cooked and great value. Never fails. Booking recommended as it gets busy! They even open in the snow.

Very nice, informal restaurant. Mostly Italian oriented with plenty of pasta and pizzas, but they also do a decent steak and a range of burgers. Good food, well prepared - nothing too fussy but everything enjoyable.

My wife and I have been regulars for quite a few months now and the staff are all very friendly. If we miss a week, they want to know why! It has become very popular and is often full at peak times, so book ahead. It's also very close to the marina and a good choice for visiting yachtsmen looking for a decent meal!
