A fun place to stop off for a meal and then wait for the lights to dim and the music to turn up and spend the night on the dance floor.
The menu is a real pub menu - burgers, pie, lasagne, steak, with nice presentation and not too bad a price. We booked a table for a birthday, and got the cushy couches by the open air front windows. We waited a bit for the food, by then the pub was filling up, and by the time we’d finished eating such a meal (although pie with mash, peas and gravy is one of my favourites) we had to recline on the lounge with our drinks for a bit before jumping up to dance. Talking about drinks, the prices were quite good in there, £3 and under for spirits.
They played some good house stuff for a while and then when everyone was drunk enough began the cheesy dance-around-the-room 80s classics like Dirty Dancing and Grease Lighting. Gotta love it! A fun night out in Sutton :-)
