This is a brilliant new Japanese that has been fitted with a super trendy interior. I couldn’t take my eyes off the huge 15ft door to the place, offering an amazing grand entrance. The white tables were like my lovely new macbook - white, small but perfectly formed, and very shiny. Everything from the subtle lighting to the super cool uber light-weight wine and beer glasses has been thought about with an incredible attention to detail.
And then there’s the food - again perfectly formed, beautifully presented, and very high quality. The seared tuna with wasabi dish was especially good. Not cheap, but not overpriced, this is a great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Slight downside was a glass of red wine for £7.50, but it was so good I couldn’t complain! The miso soup was nice, but pretty ordinary too.
The toilets are worth a visit too - a mystic aroma from the burning candles and big doors make for a pleasant washroom experience, with REN handwash - what more could a women want! (from a toilet)
The kind of place to come on a first date if you are trying to impress. I heard the people next to me discussing what their celebrity friends had been getting up to, so quite a good spot for people watching (or earwigging!)
