Wonderful Three Course Dinner

The Noble (not 100% agreed) Italian La Gazetta is located at the Lindner Hotel Dom Residence within walking distance to the Cologne Cathedral n Main Train Station.

We were Groupon Voucher Holders and wished to spend that lousy Friday Evening there and we made the perfect decision to pick La Gazetta. An easy telephone reservation, a warm greeting from both the Hotel Staff and Restaurants, a simple but cozy (n spacey) furnished Restaurant & Bar with professionals Service and last but not least the wide range offer for great n tasty Dishes and Drinks.

Why do I dare to praise La Gazetta this high?
From time to time we use the Groupon Voucher (mainly for Dining) and experienced some very ugly moments. Not only that the staffs didnt think high of such guests and treat them badly but also the quality n quantity of the food are sadly bad. La Gazetta successfully proved it wrong.

Now lemme begin with our admiring Three Course Menu

Never did I have such a nice LOBSTER SOUP. I even never thought of humiliating Lobster that way! ;) Its just served the way it should be.

My FISH(fillet) in Veggie & Rice was delicately cooked n tasty as well.

A dreamy Orange Sauce was the star my Crêpe and the Vanilla Ice Cream completed the 3rd Course.

BUT ...
before all the wonderful treatment began they already spoil us -in a very flattery way- with complimentary Fresh Bread and Olive Oil along with damn yummy Black (must try) n White Fleur de Sel and Fennel Seeds.

Ps. I'd have to be agreed with some critics (in German) that eventhough the Food are very moderate to low but the price of their drinks are quite high (14,40 for our 2 Prosecco Frizzante).
