The Real China

Visited on 24 Nov I have to say I was not impressed. Food was overlooked and congealed. The sate sauce was watered down curry sauce. The noodles were drying out. The ice cream had melted in the freezer unit and I have to say shop bought jam tarts for one of the deserts was very odd. The noise level was really bad. Also seeing diners picking food from buffet with fingers put me right off. Save your money and stick to your favorite take away. We won't be returning.

I very much enjoy eating at this chinese restaurant - the food is delicious and has a great range of dishes to choose from. Non-alcoholic drinks are good value, however alcohol is quite pricey here as other reviewers have already mentioned.

I have eaten here several times since it opened, twice for my birthday and in large groups, then just as a couple, and again with children too, and none of us has ever had a bad word to say about the food. Just wonderful! My only complaint is that the staff are often so busy and understaffed (due to the immense popularity of the restaurant) that they do not have time for a quick word or banter, or even a smile!! This is not the fault of the staff, but it does lead to an experience that I can only really give four stars to.

Totally worth it if you're on a budget and love good food!

staff ok on the whole…. depends on how busy but a buffet style so help your self…. and eat all you want….

even soft drinks are one price and refill yourself when ever you want……

good range of food for starteers and puddings….

low cost lunch time set price and good deal for evening set price food……

have been many times and will always go back……

Excellent all you want buffet, wonderful atmosphere, clean with pleasant staff,
Chefs can be seen cooking in open kitchen.
Children's choice of English food if they prefer
