Having read the positive reviews on this website about Tapame, I was hoping the restaurant would actually live up to my expectations. When the place turned out to be rather quiet when we entered (no-one else but us there!), I found myself hoping not to have made a mistake.

Must have been the nice weather that kept people away, because the food was absolutely fantastic. Since my experiences with bread served before dinner in Hamburg restaurants have been rather disappointing, I was not prepared for the great bread that was put on the table, especially because it was accompanied by absolutely delicious garlic butter! This was the kind of garlic butter that makes you want to forget the table manners that mom taught you and just use your tongue to clean the bowl.

As the main course, we ordered the mixed tapas plate for 2. It offered several dishes that rated from good to heavenly (provided you like seafood). I will definitely return to this place soon.

Service: good. Price-quality: great. Portions: just right.

This tapas restaurant directly across from the Messehalle U-bahn station is an oasis of creativity. With its inventive menu of food and cocktail drinks, the "tapas" label is all too limiting. Indeed, the tapas are delicious, especially the dates wrapped in bacon with an almond in the center and a unique balsamic vinegar-based syrup drizzled on top. However, the food that is not on the menu is equally impressive and varied with special accents in the form of spices, sauces, and food combinations. The ambience, from the large art pieces to the selection of music and lighting, is subtle, warm, and inviting. Passion exudes from the overall design of the locale, the taste of the cuisine, the uniqueness of each drink, and the excellent attention given to each customer.

Nice place- excellent table service- our glasses were never empty long.

Was disappointed though that there was no Chorizo on the menu as this is one of my favorite things to eat when having Tapas.

Nice ambiance, good beer, decent tapas, although where was the sausage?! Maybe it's a function of not being able to read the menu :)

The staff here really are fun and make an effort to ensure everyone has a great time. Last night they even produced a custom cocktail for us "le qype!", which was delicious. You won't go long with an empty glass... recommended.

A friendly restaurant just off of Feldstrasse. The sharing plates here are excellent. For 35 Euros you get a huge dish of chicken skewers, prawns, potaoes, meat balls, salad and more. This will easily feed 3 people!

The staff here are very pleasant and are always quick to top up your wheat beer :) I can see myself heading down here after work alot during the winter.
