We first saw Alex when my son was about 3 months old. He was suffering from infant reflux and it was clear the medication was not working, three sessions later and some probiotics and arrow root from me and he was a changed boy.
Alex is a great guy, very friendly yet professional in his approach, I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Alex was highly recommended by a friend who's daughter he had successfully treated. After seeking help from doctors and friends I decided to book our 3 month old baby in for his first session of cranial osteopathy with Alex. A little sceptical, Alex told us James would need approximately 5 sessions and we would have a completely different baby. After just receiving our fifth session James is, as Alex had said, a completely different baby. Prior to seeing Alex he screamed for long periods, had great difficulty feeding and did not sleep for more than 30-60 mins. James is now a very happy settled baby who now SLEEPS at night. He is now named in our house as 'The Magic Man.' My husband and I will be forever grateful to Alex and we have already recommended Alex to numerous friends who are expecting babies in the near future.
We cannot agree more with other reviews already written on here with regards to Alex's caring and professional nature. As well as having a calming effect on our son, his natural ability to calm myself with his friendly nature when I was at the end of my tether is a wonderful skill.

I visited Alex with a persistent back issue.
he listened and he advised me what the issue was and treated me accordingly.
Alex takes the time to listen and hold a conversation which is quite refreshing as in the past I have not had this level of service/attention.

Alex came highly recommended and I'm very glad we persued cranio sacral therapy with him. My son is now nearly 18 months. After 5 terrible months of constant ear infections he was refered to Manchester Children's Hospital. At his appointment we were told he had very bad glue ear, he was fast tracked to have grommets fitted. 4 days after his appointment he had his first session with Alex. After 4 sessions he no longer needed grommets. He's had no ear infections since either. Very happy.

I recently took my 3 month old daughter to see Alex at the baby clinic in Old Trafford. Alex certainly has a gift; following a tricky birth and then 3 very unsettled months, just 3 sessions with Alex settled my daughter significantly. Before seeing Alex she would cry hysterically,apparently in pain, for no obvious reason,she didn't turn her head to the side,which was leading to her developing a very flat head at the back, and she was very particular about how she was held or sat, again crying in apparent pain if not held or moved exactly right. After seeing Alex her pained cries have stopped, she now turns her head,even sleeping with it on the side now, which has vastly improved her flat head, and is generally a much happier and more contented baby. I am so grateful to Alex, it's a great gift he can give to parents and their babies. Amy and Esme.

Thanks a lot Alex, I used to have my right shoulder dislocated most of the time when doing sports, gym or football. But since you did it, I can't remember how, back in 2007 I think, it has become calm. I am in central Africa, in DR congo now since 2008. I do sports with no fear for the past 6 or 7years. Very genius and magic you are. God bless you... I recommend people in UK with physical matters too to visit Mr Alex. John Bonane

Alex was recommended to me by a friend for my 7 month old baby boy and I am so grateful to her. Bradan was waking up every hour on the hour every night but after we had seen Alex a few times he is now sleeping through the night for 11-12 hours which is amazing not only for us but also for Bradan too! I would highly recommend anyone with a new baby goes to see him. Thank you Alex!

In summer 2012 my daughter and I were lucky enough to meet Alex! Almost on a whim I decided to explore cranial osteopathy treatment for my daughter and, while hoping there would be benefits I never anticipated the amazing transformation that followed. From a very young age my bright, beautiful and vital daughter had regularly displayed challenging behaviour, this usually manifested as tempestuous outbursts that appeared beyond her control and often left her inconsolably distressed. She had reached all expected milestones, no educational/medical needs had been identified, however her behaviour caused problems at home and at school and was a constant source of stress and unpredictability.
A friend of a friend recommended Alex and off we went, me filled with trepidation, to our first appointment! From the moment my daughter and I met Alex we were put totally at ease , he is the most approachable individual – I had been expecting a stuffy/intimidating practitioner, however Alex is so pleasant and made us both laugh so much! Most importantly my daughter was so comfortable and trusting in his company – it was lovely to watch Alex work with her.
From the 1st treatment the change in my daughter was amazing, she came away with a new air of calm about her! I struggle to find words to explain the transformation its almost as if she had been on the wrong frequency and Alex has reset her default settings!! It’s made such a difference to our lives, It feels like the stress has been vacuumed out of our household, everyone notices the change! She’s getting on so much better at school and most importantly my lovely, lovely daughter, Connie, is a much calmer/happier individual who is having a far more positive experience of the world around her!! I can highly recommend Alex's cranial osteopath skills after he treated my 18 month old daughter. Despite always trying to have a good routine for her and teaching her to self settle from an early age, she still struggled to sleep through the night and also woke very early in the mornings. My daughter had 4 sessions with Alex with an increased improvement each time. She now reliably sleeps through the night and we are very grateful to Alex.

Having moved to the area in 2007 and having played hockey for many years I had a back that had treibble problems. As a PE teacher this was not the best situation to be in. Having had a good osteopath where i had previously lived I was able to cope with the daily pressure my job placed my back under. But when I was struck down at work it was essential I found someone that could help. Alex was the closests and soonest ostepath I could get to see so I gave him a go and ever since then I have never looked elsewhere.
Alex is quick to diagnose problems and was extermely quick at getting me back to work without any issues. He is very professional but also someone that will listen and do anything he can to sort your problems out. So good in fact my problems rarely crop up now but, whenever they do, I have his number on speed dial and will recomend him to anyone that has issues that need an osteopath.
What is even better is his prices are not expensive and his services are extremly reasonable. If you have a problem you need sorting Alex is you man. Great work Alex. Highly recommmended.

Having found Alex via Google when searching for a Cranial Osteopath, I feel very fortunate! Alex was friendly, attentive and, most importantly, effective in getting rid of the pain I was suffering. I don't know what I would have done without his help. Thank you so much, Alex!

Literally saved our sanity! my 10 week old daughter cried incessantly from the day she was born,numerous gps,doctors and hospitals could not help and i was at my wits end.an osteopath friend recommended Alex to us and we had nothing to lose so we booked an appt,we were seen within a day and he was amazing with Freya! after one session she was much calmer,so much so i have reduced her medication for reflux. Alex is very professional and friendly and both myself and my family cannot speak highly enough of the work he does.Freya sleeps better,eats better and is a much happier baby,which makes for a happier family.

I have always found Alex to be an amazing osteopath who has treated me many moons ago but whose effects are extremely long lasting.
He is thoroughly professional and great at explaining his diagnosis and treatment plan.
I would highly recommend him for treating the whole family from little ones to big ones and all those in between!!

I was first put in touch with Alex nearly 10 years ago when he was recommended by my sister after he had worked extensively with my young nephew .Since then virtually the whole family has had appointments at one time or another . Quite recently I was involved in only a minor road accident, but unfortunately was left very unwell, with concussion and pains in my head which can only be described as someone driving nails in with a very large hammer!!! As always Alex to the rescue (thankfully with treatment table not white horse) its hard to describe the difference its made, but safe to say I’m getting my life back after spending over 3 months virtually in bed! I’ve honestly never been this ill in my life, or for this length of time but Alex has helped me to make amazing strides , and I now feel like me again ! Thanks Alex

My experience first started in 2008 when my daughter was born. She was born with severe reflux and spent 12 days in special care. As We left hospital with lota of medication We were told to prepare for a rough ride and that she would be on meds until at least 12 months. After a search of the condition on the net I came across cranial osteopathy and decided to give it a go. The reflux symptoms eased after the first treatment and after another five sessions she es like a different baby. By the age of 4 months she was off all of the medication it was amazing. Friends were amazed by this and a further two friends booked in to see Alex.
In may 2011 baby no 2 arrived and after a couple of wks the windy colic began and he was taken to Alex for 3 treatments which worked a treat. As i type We have had 14 wks of disturbed sleep and I’m going to pick up the phone to make another appt!! Sleep deprivation is a killer. Thanks for all your help so far.

Having been recommended by a friend , and being in constant pain for the last 10 years, Alex has changed my life. I had been to a number of clinics before seeing Alex , and they were unable to stop the pain . After the first visit there was a substantial decrease in pain, and I was pain free after the second visit.
Not only is Alex a genuine and nice guy. But, at least in my opinion, a world-class practitioner, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, in fact my partner has been to see him, and she can’t believe how much he can change your life for the better.

I was i a terrible car accident and was injured very severely…………..ever since my treatment have started i have been feeling whole lot better..its taken the stiffness and the constant pain away….i had problems sleeping now i sleep well……..Thank you Alex…………….Kulsum

Alex was recommended to me by my 2 sisters and brother in law, all thought he was excellent. After having issues with my back for a 2 year period I decided to give him a try and thankgod I did – Within 3 sessions he had worked wonders and ""touch wood"" everything is still OK after 3 months. which is great news……Thankyou Alex!!!
