leider lange wartezeiten und das raum ist eng aber die gerichte sind einfach frisch und lecker.
In many other cities I would look elsewhere for better but for Berlin it can't be completely ignored... fresh ingredients and basic food. A normal sized glass noodle salad cost €5 and filling rice dish for around the same.
Service is on the rude side but fellow guests on outside tables have always been fun & friendly...I don't like waiters that tell me what to give them in tips and consistently pay you back in smaller coins as a deliberate attempt to up their tips for their next to non-existing service.
In the past I have both tried the freshly squeezed orange juice which doesn't taste house made and the lime, sugar and soda drink which is just plain boring... Now I stick to Beck's or coke!
Cheap sells in Berlin and if you walk by with a hunger and wants fresh, quick, cheap its not bad!
Even when crowded food is out fast!
WOW, i can't believe i waited so long to go here. this is the best vietnamese food i've had in the city so far.
as other people mentioned, there are only 2 main course choices per day and they are usually around 5 euro. the food is fantastic, full of flavor, the right amount of spice and fresh ingredients.
they have an open kitchen where you can see the gigantic pots of either dish, ready to be served fast. our food arrived in under 5 minutes. i even dropped my chopsticks and had a new pair appear in 10 seconds.
the staff was very nice and the cooks all seemed quite happy and joking with each other.
i will be back here all the time. it's very popular for a reason!
Delicious food and drinks - I love their mango lassi with coconut milk. The food is always delicious, healthy and fresh, I regularly crave their pho (while it's not the best I've had, it's still very good). The service is quick and efficient without being brusque. But, as others have said, it's not the place to go if you want to relax over drinks for a few hours.
Always absolutely gorgeous food. Main courses for 5 euro. Really fresh food and vegetarian friendly.
They have 2 options for main course on a board and then other soups, etc in the menu.
Very busy at peak times but they have a quick turnover so you never have to wait more than 5-7 minutes for a table.
sunny-village P.S. Not the place to go if you are looking for a quiet relaxing meal. Hamy is fast and hectic - not for everybody so ;)

Vegetarian friendly! Their typical daily special rice bowl with lemongrass curry can be had vegetarian and is delicious. Their menu is rather sparse and I find I keep ordering the special anyways. Expect a wait at peak hours, but the service is quick once you're seated.
Wonderful, fresh Vietnamese food. Reminded me of Monsieur Vuong--just as good, and less of a scene. Definitely worth a visit.
Fresh Vietnamese street food. Really good value with daily specials and Pho’s on the menu. Very similar style and quality to Monsieur Vuong at half the price.
Excellent value daily specials. Delicious food, Saigon Bia on bottle.
