This happens every now and then, but it is not Dixon’s fault. Take the macbook to your local retailer with the warranty. I assume that they gave you a world-wide guarantee?

I visited Dixons Travel at Gatwick south Terminal on my way on holiday. I was looking for an Travel Adapter, I know its a small item but it was essential for me, and I had forgotten to buy one before hand.
After going to several shops and having no luck finding one, I checked Boots and Dixons, and I was pleasantly surprised I got the best price at Dixons! and 2 for price of 1 deal offer as well, service was quick and staff were friendly and it was much cheaper than Boots!
Saved some money! more spending money!

Offensive content?
Purchase a macbook, all sealed etc but it makes a whirring sound each time it turns on as if there is a disc stuck in it. Annoyed as the product itself is good but have been informed it should not be making this sound.
