This pub was taken over and refurbished last year. the new team have brought the pub back to the standards we knew 3 years ago when the Blakemans owned it and the regulars are all back. They have obtained a 5* hygiene rating and have employed a well qualified Chef to has implemented a new menu with special offers of 2 steak meals and a bottle of wine for £15 on Wednesdays and a Jumbo Fish and Chip night on a Friday and a range of 2 meals for £10 mon to friday. They have also reinstated the Beer Garden, Quiz Night, Poker night and Live entertainment on most Saturdays.
We have found it family friendly.
