I ate at this Gatwick airport restaurant before flying to Egypt recently, filled up on lunch before heading off. We was lucky that a table became free as we was passing, as it did seem to be busy. Staff were friendly and service was good, food not fantastic but not bad considering the fast turnaround of customers they had. Good and varied choice of food and drinks.

I had breakfast here after checking in for an early morning flight. The food was good, but the service from the waiter was over attentive, almost to the point of being hyperactive. After ordering a tea, the waiter insisted on telling me all the coffees available. Err ... not thanks, I asked for a tea. I then ordered what I wanted to eat and the waiter again rattled off all the breakfast options. I'm not a child and I'm not stupid - I am perfectly capable of reading a menu and deciding for myself what I want to eat! When my breakfast arrived, it was excellent. Good ingredients and well cooked. I'd definitely eat here again, but only if I can put gaffer tape over the waiter's mouth!

I never really was ever into mexican cuisine, but was dragged into here by my other half when our flight was delayed.
I was amazingly nicely surprised.
Service was excellent (busy, but polite and genial) food was gorgeous and for somewhere where one is captive surprisingly inexpensive!
Next time we were at Gatwick (two months later) I almost hauled my other half's arm off to GET to Armadillo!
Same experience as before, great food, really good service (Thanks Tin-Tin! Oooo I hope that *is* your name!) and an overall pleasant experience. HIGHLY recommended!

Slow service, we asked to pay as we ordered but still had to wait for our bill. Even though we asked 3 times during our breakfast. Also the food was quite cold. Alll in alll not a great start to our holiday

I fly every few weeks this never seems to be open early, I go to Garfunkels and love it they seem to be missing out on business as the other units are packed this is closed even though it says open 24 hours on the Gatwick website whats going on.. are u open or not??

Ranch breakfast – Being a breakfast and inparticular American style… one would expect beans to be the staple to this diet. No, not according to Armadillo…. at 6am I was shocked and tried to argue withthe waitress…
£1 for beans to be added to your Ranch Breaskfast!!! lolololl It felt like I was being robbed!
Service was good, and the poor waitress who had to deal with me was very nice and professional.
