I was in there for a drink on 07/12 and was asked to leave simply for sitting in the wrong place, I.e. I did not want anything to eat. There were no signs to indicate this and the staff did not mention this at time of buying drinks. When I pointed this out I was accused of being rude. What a set of greedy swine with poor policies, awful hospitality and an ineffectual manager.

I have been to Bridge Bar on numerous occasions, but previously only for a drink. It is a nice, clean and relaxing venue. However, my last visit (15/07) when I had food was a very disappointing experience. My partner ordered the chicken tikka masala and it was fantastic, very tasty and well-cooked including the accompanying naan bread, however, my choice of fish and chips, also advertised outside the restaurant was a huge disappointment. I have no idea what fish was used, but it tasted so foul I left the entire plate and went and bought a sandwich next-door instead. I am not sure if the fish was off, or if it simply was a bad quality selection of fish, but you would expect more from a dish when advertised on the stand outside the bar/restaurant. I mentioned it to the person at the bar, but he seemed rather disinterested, and I was in a rush to get food elsewhere before my next flight so didn't stay to argue.
What a shame on such a nice restaurant, but I will not be eating there again.

Hi,
I was in the bridge on Monday 6/02/12 and I had the broth and the steak and chips. The broth was filling but it was soo tasty I wanted more!! I ordered rare steak and it was cooked to perfection. I was served by a a lovely estonian called nelika and service was impeccable!! I will be back again for sure!!

My wife & i had a wonderful breakfast on Monday 28 Nov. & on our return to UK this morning we made our way straight to The Bridge Bar to repeat the experience, what a difference a few days make, so VERY different.
1. Saw the waitress playing with the straw to my orange juice at the bar.
2. My wife’s fried egg must have been hanging around it was like rubber.
3. I ordered toast & what arrived was hot bread.
4. They forgot the jam to my order & they were not busy.
We got up & left, leaving the order on the table & explaining why.
Such a shame.
