In the beautiful city of Prague a few Winters back, I found myself traipsing about alone and freezing my, er, bits off. (Close one). With a high of 1 deg c predicted for midday, after a few hours out there I was ready to throw in the towel. Until I stumbled across Bohemia Bagel.

To this day it’s one of my favourite places in Europe even though I’ve only been there once. It claims to have brought the bagel to Prague and when I chanced upon it a few years ago it was really just a bagel and coffee palce. But what magicked this up was that the coffee was bottomless and great, and you could choose from vanilla, hazelnut and regular. And they put anything you could think of on a bagel - from your standard sandwich toppings to a whole fry up.

But the place was also great because it was a little quirky and had a vibe that attracted travellers and locals alike, and kept me there for a few hours.

They’ve got a couple around Praha now, and do a lot more than just bagels, so if you’re in town go out of your way to visit one.
