Review of The Queens Club Shop from 29 June 2009

when will the Queens club sell Tennis related handbags? Like those of Excuse-My-French (they design tennis bags for wimbledon , made of tennis balls!). I am lucky enough to visit the Queens club regularly for corporate events, and always stop by the shop out of curiosity.
They always have something new, and I totally agree with Andrew, it’s all about souvenirs and tennis accessories. The bags, or ladies bags they have yet are too sporty. Paradoxaly the club, tearooms and terraces are so elegant!

Pricey but very nice stuff. I wouldn’t recommend coming here to buy a tennis rackets or generic gear. You’ll be able to find a much better deal at Lillywhite’s in town. If you’re after Queens souvenirs and goodies though, this is the place to come. Fred Perry clothing dominates the racks (something to do with Andy Murray?)

Staff are extremely helpful and were exceptionally good at dealing with the hordes of American tourists!

Review of The Queens Club Shop from 13 June 2008

There was a chill in the air when I went to the tennis at Queen’s so it was a good excuse to nip into the shop when I was taking a break from spectating… Perhaps not such a good idea for my wallet, as there was plenty to tempt me.

There’s a good choice of brands including Nike, Ellesse, Fila and glitzy Ralph Lauren. Colours and styles are far from predictable; prices are pretty close to those on the high street.

Staff are very helpful, even when incredibly busy; fitting rooms are super-comfortable. There’s plenty here to lure women, men and children, as well as some convenient sports snacks and drinks.
