If this place wasn’t so darn out of the way I’d be here all the time. I was expecting pattered carpets and bar stools in this “traditional English pub” but it’s all stripped back wooden walls, fine, fairly priced food, great selection of wine and real ale, pleasant staff and as a whole it’s totally charming and cosy.
