Offensive content?
This was built purely to compete with Lidl. The small town already had Lidl, Tesco and Spar so another supermarket isn’t really required. Some bargains to be had, but I generally prefer Lidl.

It depends where you live.
I prefer good shopping in the small shops - but in Wales I find it very difficult. So I welcome the opening of Aldi in Porthmadog. It is designed very well.

SPEND A LITTLE - LIVE A LOT (ALDI UK).
Aldi encourages people to bring their own shopping bags instead of using plastic bags. Bought milk, mineral water, wheat beer, coffee (no, not instant ;-)), and more.
It made a huge difference to my shopping in Machynlleth moneywise. I also got fresh fruit here! Since life in Wales is expensive one has to go here unfortunately really.
