I just had my hair cut today. Debbie is "AWESOME".She listens to you and knows exactly what you want. I relied on her completely and bingo she did an amazing job. I am glad i found out about the Liberty Hair Salon in the internet. I will definitely go back there again and I would strongly recommend it to my friends.

Debbie does fantastic cuts and colours here – got selection of magazines too (shallow but essential when you’re going in for a full head of highlights, I think we’ll all agree girls!)

Would recommend to friends without a second thought!

I wholeheartedly recommend Liberty to everyone! Debbie is a brilliant hairdresser who knows what cut will suit you and most importantly listens to what you want. I first went to Liberty as I'd had a terrible haircut elsewhere and Debbie worked miracles on improving the cut without taking any more off the length. Will definitely be returning and wish I'd gone there first!

Went there the other day based on the ratings and comments here, and I was very pleased! Debbie was lovely, and just the kind of hairdresser I need. I had very long hair (almost touching my bum), and I needed to get a real hairstyle. Debbie proposed two alternatives after hearing me out, and explained which she thought would suit me best, which was just what I needed. I want a nice hairstyle, but I had no idea really what would suit me, but while Debbie had her own ideas, she still listened to my concerns as I was a bit cowardous in the beginning, but I'm more than happy with my new hairstyle and I can only recommend this salon to anyone and everyone!

Liberty is the place to go! Debbie did my hair today and it was exactly what I wanted! She knows exactly what she's talking about and doing; she knows what will suit you and look good. The salon is lovely - if you want gorgeous hair, go to Liberty!!!

I have been having my hair styled and coloured by Debbie at Liberty for a number of years and I have always been delighted with the results. Debbie is a very hard working professional person who takes a great deal of pride in her work and wants her clients to be happy with the salon's services. Liberty is a friendly salon and all the staff are super; I love going there to have a bit of 'me time' and a natter.
My husband also goes to Liberty to get his hair done and he too is very happy with the results.

Debbie has been my hairdresser for around 10 years now and I have always loved the cuts and colours she has given me. The salon has undergone several transformations over years, but since Debbie has taken over the salon it has been given a really fresh and modern makeover, she's really put her stamp on it. The staff at Liberty are always very friendly and welcoming and you never feel rushed when you are there. I wouldn't consider having my hair done anywhere else in York and even take my children to Debbie for their haircuts and they adore her.

I have been having my hair done by Debbie since she arrived in York over 10 years ago. She is a very elegant, chich young women with a professional attitude. Liberty is an up and coming salon whose transformation over the past 2 years is fantastic. The salon is moder, clean and you are made to feel very comfortable when you arrive. There is always a friendly atmosphere and you always leave feeling good about yourself and I think that is down to the people who work there. Keep it up Debbie and watch out Toni and Guy, you have major competition now!

i love the atmosphere in the salon, the stylist i see is debbie, at the begining of the year i had my hair coloured red so throughout the year i have had a variety of shades of tihis colour and have loved every one ... all my friends and work mates have given me positive feedback on the colour and the styles, have now gone blonde, new colour and style for the coming new year... keep up the good work... if you want a new style or colour for the new year and help in choosing what is going to suit you, i can say with my hand on heart choose this salon...
