i have had yuko done last year with Fiza..she semed to be very warm and courteous..my hair was poker straight for 6 months but i guess the products she used werent great as i am having a great amount of hairfall following that..my fault as looking for a cheap treatment this is what it entails..no offences to fiza

Dear prospective customers- Dont go near Fiz's salon
I find it very funny how she tells customers she is being targeted by fake reviews- where there's smoke there's fire :)))

The establishment's management who goes by the name of 'Fiz' talks to customers rudely and has her own business agenda which does not match that of the deal sites' terms and conditions. She struggles with her language and lacks manners- very clear from the way she responds to dissatisfied customers on here.

I bought two hair deals and rung up to book but she would not give me the appointment I wanted because I had a voucher. However, if I had not bought the deal yet she would have given me the appointment- so that she could pocket the commission. She was reported to the dealsite and made to offer me an appointment which she resented. She spoke to me very rudely and hung up on me. She then called me and sent me two harassing text messages. I have reported her to the police for harassment with the texts and call logs as proof. She clearly has a history of doing this, you just need to read the rest of the reviews to see this. I also contacted Trading Standards who were interested to hear about her custom strategy and who I directed to this review site. I would urge everyone to do this- we might actually get her on Watchdog one day haha

There is such a crisis in the world of business, so a businesswoman who talks to customers like this should not be pocketing your hard earned money. You just need to read the responses she has left to customer's complaints on here.
Support some other business who deserves your custom and knows how to say a please and thank you- and possibly has heard the mantra that the customer is always right.

Moral of the story- Stay well away from this salon :)

Gutted is all I can say.....

I have read the reviews on this website and many other websites and although I was really unsure about whether to go to Fizmake up I decided as it was so cheap, I would give it a try. I really wish I had listened to what people had to say on this website.... they are so right and I now also have recked hair. I have just returned to my usual hair dresser in Covent Garden who has basically said my hair is ruined and I have just have to have 3 inches cut off as the ends of my hair were severely burnt and dried out! I am so upset... Please people if you are considering using this women, read these reviews and believe them!

I really wish I had never gone as I have now had to cut my long hair, much shorter and its left dry, frizzy and what looks like singed in some parts. I thought the people were being a little harsh when reading previous reviews but now completely understand where everyone that has left reviews is coming from!

fiz even had told me how she was being targeted online and they were all fake reviews... BELIEVE me they are not. I wish I had listened to them now. I just hope others reading this will not take the chance i have.

I first went to Fiz Make up in Acton over a year ago for Yuko Hair straightening. I visited her in her house and the end result was great. It was poker straight and stayed like this for many months. I did not have to use my GHD Hair Straighteners and even go away with not having to have it re-done for over one year.

I then went back to see Fiz Make up for it to be re-done, this time in her salon in Acton. I had read some bad reviews prior to my visit but decided that I would continue with my appointment as I had been so pleased with the results the previous time.

BIG MISTAKE! Fiz had 3 other women all having their hair straightened at the same time as me, so it was like a production line. The lady next to me, had come back as she had complained about how frizzy her hair had been left after a yuko treatment. Fiz's response to this was that she had used a strong product and there was nothing more she could do. The way she spoke to the customer was appaling.

I then started to worry that my hair would be the same however I was half way through my treatment. The process took half the time that it did the first time I went - again another alarm bell! After the process was finished my hair was not straight but had sections of frizz and kinks at the sides. Fiz told me that this was straighten out and that I had to leave it for the 2-3 days and then wash it.

I then washed it as instructed and was devasted by the end result. My hair has been left frizzier than before and had been singed and burnt at sections near my ears and at the back of my neck. I immediately contacted fiz who even after several attempts to call, would only respond to me by text message. Her response was extremely defensive and rude. She told me that as my hair was coloured my hair was in bad condition and that did I think she could work miracles?? I could not believe this.. I have read on her website and many other websites that Yuko works better on coloured hair! My hair WAS not in bad condition but it seems she makes many excuses as to why its the customers fault and not her own.

I will NEVER go back and have my hair done by FizMakeup. I have been left with dry, frizzy, burnt hair that even GHD Hair Straighteners will not iron out. I am terribly upset everytime I wash it and see how awful it is. I do not believe she is using YUKO products, her customer service skills are appaling and she recks your hair. My advice is to stay well clear!

We are sorry to hear your story and we know customer is always right. but dear your hair was chemically colored damaged and we advise you not to hide about your hair history with another hairdresser.
sometimes colored damaged hair girls are desperate to get there hair straightened and hide about when they last colour there hair or highlighted.
if you see the first time your hair was amazing done by fizmakeup
but the second time not, it could be your circumstances change, must be coloured, highlighted.
We did our best to sort out your problem but still you are not happy.

We have discussed this many times by text but we can go through it again on a public forum if you like? I do not understand what you mean by ‘hide about my hair history with another hairdresser’? I have no idea what you are talking about?! My hair is coloured with a semi permanent / wash out colour around every 6-8 weeks. My hair was not in poor condition but is now, after your treatment.
I did not hide behind when it was last coloured, it is exactly the same circumstances as when I first came to you. I do not feel I need to lie, unlike some people.
And yes I am still not happy, as aren’t many others who are all determined to do the same thing as me and spread the word of warning about you to others!

Coming with some mixed feeling here… I was Fizz’s client for 3 years for yuko and everytime I was extremely happy. I would have rate her 5 out of 5, my hair always looked and feel awesome.
I went in December for my regular yuko and very soon after that it started to wash off… I called her in febr and went for a consultation. On the phone she said a treatment will be enough but when I went there and she saw may hair she said yuko is need it again on the back and keratine on the front and sides. She said she has a few other clients like this, she blamed yuko for sending her some products that were not good. She booked me to come to do yuko on the back again, and keratine the rest, all for free she said. I went this time to the saloon. I was surprised to see this time she spend one hour for yuko on the back and keratine in the sides! Normally yuko takes a few good hours… this time it took one hour! During that hour keratine also included. For whoever has done that in the past knows the procedure – she was in a rush even if I was the only client in the saloon. She charged me £40 for keratine, guess forget about the free. I didn’t even try to challenge the money, I paid without asking why.
Anyway, my hair again is washing off, after 2 weeks only. I called her and she said: “Hi, really don’t know whts going with your hair, yuko don’t wash out”. She knows yuko takes a few hours, keratine same.. she did both in a total of one hour….
The positive is that my hair is not damaged, but I wasted my time and money. I know she knows how to fix it – it’s a matter of intention + being cheap with the products.
Good luck to everyone out there, I will try somebody else next time

YES YOU ARE RIGHT!! I have already left a review on here about her and then after phoning the YUKO Academy in London, I found out she never had any training with them in the first place which she claims! YUKO Academy are actually investigating her because they have received many complaints about her claiming to be registered with them. If you actually go onto the YUKO Academy website, they have a list of all salons/hairdressers who have been certified and trained through them and she isnt one of them. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Very professional she did an amazing job and always talked to through the process and how the chemicals work. Had it done today i was scared as I have mixed race afro hair but i can promise you my hair straight frizz free and looking really healthy glad I found fizmakeup. Happy Girl. defiantly moneys worth aswell cheapest place I found one place wanted the charge me Â£480 and the cheapest was Â£250. But only paid Â£190 with a haircut from fiz. Great Buisness honestly

I have had YUKO done many times before but decided to try Fiz as it was more local to me and cheaper. I am Asian and have wavy hair which is quite thick but not course. As I have had YUKO done before, I was expecting my hair to turn out the same which was STRAIGHT (at least) soft and shiny. Unfortunately, I got none of that. After not washing my hair for 48 hours (as directed) once the YUKO was done, my hair was practically the same and all underneath was wavy! It didn’t look good at all! However, Fiz did offer to re do the wavy bits so I went back a few days later. I left my hair for slightly longer this time (3 days) and washed it the day I flew out on holiday. To my shock and upset, my hair was still exactly the same. I got my hair done specifically as I was going on holiday for 3 weeks! I didn’t have the time to get it sorted out and to be honest, I couldn’t be bothered to go back again as if she can’t get it right the first time, or the second, she never will. Just goes to show that cheaper is not always better. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money but you live and learn. Definitely won’t be recommending Fiz.

My name is Pav and I came to your house with my sister on 10th Dec 2011 and then again on 20th Dec 2011 to get our hair re-done as the first time was wrong. My other sister also cam to you on 10th Dec but later on in the day. Therefore there was 3 of us. I am sure you do remember now. I still have your texts in my phone.
My review is not fake, it is 100% genuine. I suggest you do not continue to say that you are trained with the YUKO Academy as you are not and anyone can call them to find out which goes to show I am not lying.

pav with very long hair did not paid the full price. even than when she complained about her hair that there was a kink on the side, we did it again for free.

No we were not happy!! I wouldn’t write a negative review otherwise! I paid the price that you had listed and you didn’t offer me discount so don’t know what that has got to do with it. So are you saying that because I didn’t pay the full price, that is the reason my hair still was the same?? Awful customer service right there! I paid what you told me!! I WOULD NOT recommend Fiz make up.

I’ve been getting YUKO done twice a year for the last 3 years. My usual stylist was unavailable so I decided to try Fiz as she was more local to me a considerably cheaper than most salons. As a regular to the YUKO process, I was expecting the same result. My hair is long, curly but not coarse and usually when the YUKO process is finished, my hair is in better condition that it was before, and my hair is left straight, especially at the roots. Unfortunately, this was not the result I had when I visited Fiz. I waited almost three days before washing (as instructed) but my hair wasn’t straight, it was wavey.

I was absolutely devastated. As I said before, I’ve had YUKO done many times and the result has always been the same – perfectly straight hair! But not this time…I told Fiz and she offered to sort out the problem free of charge (if I took another day off work). She informed me that she usually charges to sort out anything the client is unhappy with his is ridiculous. Anyway, off I went back to Fiz thinking she would finally get it right. She even saw and acknowledged that there were still waves in my hair. After another 2hours, she had finished but the results were still the same.

The first time we went to see Fiz, she was polite but the second time, I was made to feel as if I was an inconvenience to her. You cannot simply look at the YUKO pictures on her website and think that your hair will look exactly like that. Anyone’s hair that has had every small sectioned straightened with just hair straighteners will look like that. The real results are after you’ve washed your hair at home.

Fiz couldn’t deliver but I guess you get what you pay for.

I have always gotten my hair straightened back home in Manila. This was the very first time I have tried this here in London and I’ve got to say, this is really good value for money. My hair looked fab and boyfriend loves it. He wants to have my hair like this all the time now. I shopped around before I chose this and the good reviews helped me decide apart from the price. The owner was really competent and had a great bedside manner. She also gave good advice about which shampoo and conditioner to use afterwards. I will definitely come back in the future.

I also had my hair done by Fizz she is very good for the price, my only criticism is that I felt she was not very generous with the protein spray, considering when I very first had this done about 10 years ago at Green Park they were very generous with the spray and the results were absolutely fabulous, bearing in mind that my hair was virgin hair (i.e. not coloured, treated or relexed either). However prior going to Fizz my hair was relaxed and growing out, so therefore my ends were very dry after I finally washed it so I had to keep it very conditioned all the time, I felt if she had sprayed a bit more protein spray or whatever it is called in the between process my endz might not have been so dry. My hair has all grown now and been cut numerous times so I am back to virgin hair and would certainly consider going to Fizz again

I went to Fiz 2 times.
The first time i was very happy and my hair looked completely straight for 8 months. I am from France and i was so happy that i decide that i would come again to London. The second time the straightening did not work at all. After putting the first product on my hair, Fiz let me know that she has to go to the bank and she leaves me in her house waiting for 40 minutes. She did not check for the elasticity like she did the first time a year ago and mention it was an important to see how the product working on your hair.
She was in a rush, did all the step really fast. The first time when ironing my hair she took super tiny slices of hair but this time she was going super fast.
Disappointed i write her to let her know that i am not happy and she is being really rude in the email she write to me saying that she dont appreciate i am saying she did not care for my hair in a professionnal way ( i.e: going to a bank appointment ) She knows the technique well but make sure she have time or dont do two things in the same time.

I am sooooo glade i went to fizmakeup, i did the yuko and i am soooo happy with the result.. my hair is soooo soft and straight, the price is cheaper than any designer salon (and their results are rubbish) i have never had my hair feeling like this before.
I just cannot believe the result its just amazing, i just washed my hair and blowdried it on LOW HEET and used my fingers….within 2min my hair was straight…yesss straight!!!!! im soo happy it looks healthy and feels amazing. Thank you sooo much fizmakeup, :D i highly recommand it to everyone who wants beautiful straight hair.

I had the Yuko straightening done almost a week ago and I am so happy with the results. I have really long, thick and wavy hair that was really hard to manage. It used to take me at least an hour to dry and straighten my hair and now it takes about 10 minutes. Fiz was very professional and talked me through the process. The price was terrific in comparison to anywhere else in London. I would definitely recommend Fizemakeup to anyone and I would happily go back again.

First time I have had the Yuko treatment done and I am over the moon! It has been a week and I have not had to use my hair straightner once. I simply wash my hair and dry with the hair dryer nozle facing down. My hair used to take me a good hour and half to wash a dry properly, but now Im looking at 20 mins max. Fiz was very professional talked me through the process from start to end. She also gave advice on how to look after my hair going forth. I will be going back as the service , out come and price were very well balanced.

Had my yuko done a week ago and was very pleased with the result.

I have mixed race frizzy hair and the treatment has left it soft, straight and in good condition. I've put my straightners to rest!

It was very reasonably priced- especially for london. Fiz was really nice and the hair studio was professional. Good transport links/parking and good avaliability.

I really recommend this to anyone who battles with straighteners daily- it saves so much time and effort.

I love the fact that it's affordable and I didnt get high prices like you normally would in central London for Yuko japanese hair straightening. This is the second time i visited to have it done and once more I was pleased with the results. I was also happy that it took only an hour less than normal and the results are great! will be back next year as long as the prices are kept as they are!

Filza's Yuko treatment on my hair has had fantastic results . My hair is completely straight and shiny when before it would frizz up if any sort of dampness touched it .
The process is quicker now taking about 3 hours from start to finish . Filza is warm and welcoming and suggests lots of useful tips

It's the first time I have the Yuko treatment at fizmakeup, even though I've had it done several times in many different saloon.I can definitely say fiz is a real expert, she talked me through the different stages of the treatment, explaining what she was doing in a very professional way. The result has been absolutely fantastic; I walked out with silky, shiny and beautiful hair. I will certainly recommend it , and I will most definitely be back!!!
