Kings Head Hotel

Stayed 2 night’s at hotel. Rooms modern and airy with large bathroom and plenty of storage. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast had plenty of choices. Lqrge car park. Bar and lounge downstairs lovely too.Would stay again if in the area.

Situated alongside the main through road opposite the village store.A large premises comprising a hotel,bar and restaurant with a large car park to the rear.The bar offered a choice of three or four cask ales as well as cider and lagers.The dining menu offered plenty of choice and the food was well cooked,hot and very tasty.In keeping with most fine dining establishments the presentation was excellent but portion sizes were small for the prices charged.The service was good and the staff friendly but I felt the place lacked atmosphere and would be more suited to private and corporate functions than individual diners.Despite these niggles I think a visit is worthwhile if in the area.
