not a bad place to drink, bar staff are friendly and customers are ok nothing to jump around about but ok for a drink or 2
Used to be a Wetherspoons and despite it’s change of ownership it has kept an important aspect from it’s Wetherspoon’s days and that is the price. Besides Spoon’s pubs and Sam Smith’s pubs this is the only place where I have paid less then 2 pounds for a pint.
Other pluses are the extremely friendly staff and the layout, which makes a big pub somehow more intimate, with its sections and levels. No wonder it was very busy and the fizz pub next door was practically empty.
Normal pub for this area. Sometimes quite a bit strange people around. The Bar staff is really friendly.
