AVOID at all costs. The reviews on this place are dated. My visit which was February 2013 - was nothing short of disastrous. Very unfriendly venue. The staff are aloof, half asleep and uninterested. The manager is extremely rude, aggressive and unhelpful. (With staff treading around his toes). Awful awful place. AVOID. There are so many other amazing pubs, with great people, friendly atmosphere and wonderful service. You would be crazy to waste your money and time in this place.

Love this pub, it's a great, friendly local, with good staff and reasonable prices. A good selection of music adds to the atmosphere and it's nice to see a pool table.
I've never known it to serve food, unless that's a brand new thing, but the drinks and bar snacks are enough and a fairly standard selection. Quiet and friendly during the day, can get busy in the evenings as the crowds fill up the pub before gigs and events at Koko which is next door.

This is a small pub with a great deal of space taken up by the pool table on the upper level. There is a padded bench at the front that is susceptible to draughts from guys entering and exiting. Beer is about £3 a pint, slightly over. Loud music is playing constantly. There is always a table available but frankly i would take the fifteen minute walk to kings cross and go to a pub there or york way for lincoln lounge or cross kings.
