I didn’t like espresso (I am Italian)

one of my favourite places for a good italian breakfast with excellent coffee!
the staff is friendly, the price is nice and the quality of food is very good!

Classic example of offering a few things, but offering them well. Friendly owner who also works there (instead of just hanging around the place looking important) and friendly staff who seem to enjoy what they are doing.

A very positive exception amongst all those cool Mitte places.

A most excellent coffee shop and cafe. Wonderful coffee, properly made (especially the latte macchiato). Small pastry and piadinas too! A nice place to read or to catch up with friends.

Really good for a quick and cheap bite right at the center of Rosenthaler Platz. The piadinas are really good, made fresh when you order them, and quickly arrive on a plate in front of you. The inside of this little cafe is very warm and comfortable, with plain white walls, wood tables, and plenty of magazines to choose from as you eat. The owner is especially nice and friendly. Much better than just grabbing some döner if you want a quick snack.

Excellent little place in Weinbergsweg in Berlin Mitte, with delicious piadinas made fresh in front of our eyes (enjoyed the one with grilled veggies for lunch today: we got two for 5,20), an espresso for 50 cents, and some scrumptious looking dolci. Best was the minimalistic but warm white interieur without any Mitte-Schnickschnack, and the friendly owner (I think!) baking piadinas himself.
