Have been using Crosstown for a long time now.
Always on time, some times early (which i havent been charged for the driver just sitting waiting)
Always ask me what route i want to take instead of going the way that will cost me more money.
Can always have a friendly conversation with the driver.
Brilliant rates!

Had taxi booked for 7pm half hour later no taxi and no answer on phone on Christmas day!!! First time using and defo the last!!! Bastards!

This morning a Blue Skoda Reg SD55 CHU Crosstown Taxi just pulled out in front of 2 cars that were in front of me which caused everyone to brake hard. Once beside the taxi I realised that that driver hadn't noticed the chaos he'd caused behind because he was too busy lighting his cigarette! I thought smoking was illegal in private hire and public transport!

Just got home after been picked up on time by a very friendly driver. Its a shame that only negative comments get posted. Well done guys. Will be sure to use you again. Reliable and well priced.

Started off okay with this company but after a few weeks were badly let down. Had booked a cab to get to work for a long shift but it didn’t appear. To cut a long story short the controller hadn’t listened & gave the driver the incorrect house number. So – late for work. It’s essential a controller is spot on or else everyone involved suffers. Can’t afford to use them again for this reason. Hence the one star.

Poor service. One star was given only because they managed to get me to my destination. Was told the wait would be 15-20 minutes. Cab arrived 15 minutes late. An apology was given for the car being dirty but not for the delay. Was quoted a fair and average price on the phone, however the meter went up faster than usual and cost double the quoted rate. I used a different cab service earlier that day and it had cost the same price for double the distance. Cross town cars tried to reassure me in the car as the meter increased that they have one of the cheapest rates, absolute liars. Quotation price on the phones does not match the end price as they have it on a higher rate. I called them to state that I had been misinformed by them. After a false apology, I asked if they had a website, they said no, spoke amongst themselves and then simply hung up the phone. My advice, don’t open yourself to a disappointing half rate service for double the price.
