Four stars would probably be more accurate, but for this little down-home, mom and pop restaurant, five stars is appropriate.
They’ve been open for forever and a day, and they’ve been consistently good since they opened their doors. The noodle bowls are all very good, as is their pho. I would avoid the beef balls, if you’re not a fan. They’re squishy and a little too much like a chew toy. I’m still on the hunt for a decent pho restaurant in San Francisco, however. At this point, I’m convinced it doesn’t exist.
My aboslute favorite is their fresh rolls, however, which live up to their name. They’re always fresh, minty, and delicious. I could eat two plates in one sitting, if given half a chance.
Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the people are always welcoming and smiling as you walk in the door. By far my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in San Francisco.
