Thanks for this review. I was being persuaded to visit this restaurant for a meal but I don't think I am going to now.

Popped in here on a flying visit to the city, but wish I hadn’t! Since starting on sushi diet I had been doing well but the experience of this paticular branch has not helped my transition. I’ve seen better layouts in Ronnie Barker’s “Porridge” !!
The food was not as good as I have had in other houses, but, to be fair, the staff were lovely. Soooo 3 stars.

Great staff service but too busy. Correction is DEFINITELY NOT A SUSHI RESTAURANT!! They just serve very very greasy stir fried noodles. The portions are huge (monstrously huge for the people who just binge). Other than that it’s worth the curiosity trip and yes over-priced!

Went here with my kids for the first time at the weekend. Loved it! All of us did! Service was swift and efficient. The food was delicious (mine was the first out and the kids all dived in!) and my fussy middle daughter was in heaven with the simple kids meals! The layout is clean and modern so thumbs up from us! I enjoyed it so much I went back without the kids on Monday!

I love the Wagamama chain but the Canterbury shop served the worst noodle I have ever had in the UK. My friend and I both ordered the same soup noodle and the noodle was undercooked. The waiter asked the manager to talk to me and she was indifferent. She asked me what I want to do with it!! I said I want replacement. She grabbed both bowls and the napkins and the chopsticks away from my table in a flash of seconds. And of course there was no appology or things like that. When the waiter took the noodle to us again we got no chopsticks to eat with. The noodle wasn't a new replacement. It was put back in a saucepan and boiled again. The soup has completely reduced and soaked up by the meat and veg and noodle. Everything in the bowl stuck together - what a disguisting look and taste! The manager didn't return to check if the replacement noodle is alright.

When I went to Wagamama Ltd in Canterbury the service was terrible, for example the waitresses were rude, very slow and miscalculated our bill!! The food however was good although poorly presented. We liked the fact that you could see the chefs cooking in the kitchen but we didn’t like the way the tables were set out. However it’s okay value and a busy place if you want a quick bite to eat at lunch time. It’s probably healthier than most fast food places such as McD’s, Burger King, Subway etc. Worth a visit if you aren’t looking for immaculate service and perfect food, just something quick and filling.

I find the food at Wagamamas quite bland and over-priced given that you have to sit on a bench, however you can’t knock the atmosphere and liveliness of the restaurant which makes it so popular. The format makes it easy to meet new people and take large groups of people with minimal fuss.

the food wasnt that good. although it was nice and warm. as you would expect. service was alright. however i thought it was pretty expensive being a student for the quality of food.

This restarant is always packed so you do have to sit near other people and if only a couple, share a table.
The food is cooked as you watch and is always very fresh and mostly wok-cooked so very healthy. there is plenty for vegetarians and lots of soup-like dishes. If you haven’t eaten there before, they are happy to recommend dishes.
The staff are young, friendly and polite and the sorbets are excellent.

I love Wagamma’s. Great choice for veggies and non veggies alike, being a veggie they have a great choice for me!
Freshly cooked food you can see being made, always great service and a great atmosphere and great prices, what more could you want!

Great food as always! Healthy and served quickly - also you can watch the chefs cooking your meals as the kitchen is open plan.
The Canterbury restaurant is down a small side street so full of atmosphere.

Definitely my favourite chain restaurant and a great place for a quick lunch. The food is fresh and tasty and no raw fish in sight!
The staff in every branch I have visited have been friendly and the restaurants are spotless. Even if you don’t think you like Japanese food, you should check this place out as I think there is something for everyone.
