The Spice Enterprise

This is my husband and I’s favourite Indian restaurant in Carlisle. I’m vegetarian and there’s plenty for me to choose from, I would definitely recommend a visit. The food is made with fresh ingredients and no food colourings are added.

The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble, l’m looking forward to my next visit already!

Going to sound like I'm advertising the place, but quite simply, it is the best establishment of it's kind I have ever had the good fortune to frequent. Perfectly cooked food, made to the customers taste and using fresh spices rather than powdered (I can tell). Service was polite and personal, with staff ready to recommend dishes to the less experienced indian food lover. The owner is from Mumbai and is both affable and the perfect host. If you only ever go to one indian restaurant again, make it somewhere memorable like this one.

I love the Spice Enterprise for their great food and wide choice. We also have kormas and tikka masalas but my dad loves their vindaloo as he is more adventurous. The satff are lovely and keen to accommodate. They also do takeaway which is great. Wouls definately reccommend this restaurant.

If you like spicy food or even just Indian food they I strongly recommend you pay The Spice Enterprise a visit. The menu is very extensive and has many dishes that I have never even tried but I am very keen to try more in the future. If you like a traditional curry in the correct environment then you will love it here. I was talking to the staff when I went last and they said they aim to try and the curry away from a fast food thing and want people to enjoy it as part of a real mean. Everyone is so polite here and I will definitely go again. It is a bit costly but for the food and the service that you get it is well worth it

excellent indian food in a friendly atmosphere, good welcome from the owner and staff. just love the food have been a lot since it opened.

Excellent food and lots of choice, would recommend you try it!
I like the vegetarian choice, my husband likes the lamb dishes, he’s working his way through the menu.
