Lovely salads, quiches, deli-type things to try. Great to see them actually cooking directly behind the counter – it kind of inspires confidence in the food.
The little selection pots are good way to try a few things in one go and can be taken away to eat on the Cathedral green on a warm day.

Veggie-tastic place just opposite the Cathedral. Friendly ‘Brighton Laines-ey’ vibe and especially good tray bakes. The seats spill outside & it’s a decent place to watch the world go by. Very good.

Awful lot of vegetables eaten in here. I hear they run the cookers off locally produced methane.

This is a great cafe. Great selection of food and it's all really tasty. Lovely selection of deli type stuff too & really well made coffee.

A fun alternative type of dining.
One of the few places that offer 'corkage’ yeh hey!
Staff = busy
Food = healthy
Value = reasonable
Good place to take a friend to catch up and boost the old battery prior to shopping.

Very small cafe, but very helpful staff. The cafe is in a pleasant setting on the cathedral green, and specialises in homemade vegetarian food. They cater to special dietary requirements (such as veganism, or nut allergies etc.), but it’s probably wise to call ahead to confirm that something suitable is on the menu! They kindly stayed open late to cater for a group meal, although normally they are not open in the evenings. Local organic produce and other specialist delicatessan items are on sale. The food here is delicious, fresh and locally sourced (as far as I could tell) and pretty reasonably priced. Thumbs up from me!

Great little cafe for vegetarian/vegan lunches, snacks, cakes and coffee. In a wonderful location overlooking the cathedral. A nice place to stop and eat!
