This place looks like a nice on-campus indian restaurant from outside, however does not meet any expectations as a restaurant in which well-prepared food is served, but rather as a ‘slow working’ fast-food outlet.

The prices seem to be simply indifferent from any quick-service place like McDonald’s, imagine an Islamic one.

The most disappointing part was the plastic plates, forks, spoons and knifes rather then the slowness of the service. It is hard to think this as a cost-effective strategy from management’s point of view.

This is an outlet of the posh Indian restaurant in town of the same name. But this is more like a fast food outlet. It is situated on the Lancaster University campus, but is open to the public.

Although it mostly caters for student and their need for fatty food after a night out, it provides quality fast food which has a large Indian influence.

You won’t find any beef burgers here, only lamb (and other meat) burgers. The pizzas are all basic Italian recipes but with Indian twists and toppings, such as the chicken tikka pizza, which I recommend.

Moreover, the prices are extremely good, which make for a perfect student food outlet.

And most importantly, it is only place on campus that sells curly fries and they are good too! :-)
