Chino Thai

Eaten here a couple of times, nice location, quite traditional restaurant, not bad choice of food and reasonably price.

I have been to Chino Thai many times and always have had excellent service and food. Recently I discovered that this restaurant has a special deal with the Leisure Excahnge car park offering 40% discount on parking.

Chino Thai is great for a pre theatre meal. A two course meal from the early bird menu comes to significantly under £10 per person and the portions are still fairly generous. I think the a la carte is a lot pricier but it’s great quality food.

I’ve only ever been to the buffet downstairs, not the upstairs bit.
The buffet is good value, you can even get duck pancakes! There is plenty to choose from, with the usual limited desserts.
Service is reasonable, with plates clared away quickly, but it can be difficult to order extra drinks, although soft drinks are refillable.

Set in the centre of a range of bars, Chino Thai offers a place for a drink/cocktails downstairs and/or a lovely meal upstairs. Lovely food and very courtious staff. They also can section off part of the restaurant for private functions where they can offer a lovely hot buffett.

If you’re after a great Chinese meal in Bradford then you can’t go wrong Chino Thai. It has a fabulous atmosphere and a good selection of Chinese, Canton and Thai meals. I have only ever been to the CT for lunch and taken up the buffet option, which is an all-you-can-eat affair with some delicious dishes from lovely starters to magnificent mains. I did on occasion find some dishes tasting a bit similar but with so many to choose from this is bound to happen in in no way detracts from the quality of the food on offer.

I love chinese food and this is just the best. I usually sit upstairs in the restaurant part at night time but if we go during the day we sit in the buffet area so this makes it a different experience every time you go. The buffet part does get very busy and the seats are on top of each other so you do not get any privacy which is why the restaurant upstairs is better as it is more private. The food is absolutely gorgeous and a decent price, with the buffet area downstairs being a lot cheaper than the restaurant. You can also go sit on the terrace outside which is lovely on a nice sunny day or night. They have a bar where you can buy some nice booze to go with your meal. The staff are lovely and friendly.

One of the best restaurants in bradford - this is traditional chinese/thai food at its best. Based at the bottom of bradford at the edge of centenary square it is in the ideal location.

You can sit downstairs in the buffet bar where it is help yourself to the food that is served in a buffet cart. Or for a better restaurant meal you can sit upstairs and have a more extensive menu, but, this is much dearer.

Or you can have a takeaway and sit outside on the terrace and watch the world go by.

The food is quite dear but well worth it and is lovely and freshly cooked.

The staff are very polite and go out of their way to help you.

There is a bar so you can have a nice cocktail with your meal or a beer.

The outside terrace is just next to lloyds bar and their bouncers/security staff tend to keep watch over the other places in the square which makes it nice and safe for you to relax and eat.

Chino Thai is in the centre of Bradford, close to the interchange and just a short walk from Forster Square Train Station. There is also an NCP car park close by which you can get a discount for. If the attached internal bar does not suit your fancy then there is a LLoyds bar next door and other bars just a short walk away.

The food is brilliant and I have often dined here, both through the day and on an evening. It is a really nice setting with the option of a buffet and sushi. There is a wide range of different foods which is great if you are like me and can never just decide on one thing, why not have a bit of everything.

A nice venue for a function or just for a meal with friends. Upstairs is a nicer restaurant setting whereas downstairs is a buffet/ noodle bar. Good prices, nice bar attached to the venue and a good location in the centre of Bradford.
