I recently got my auto insurance renewal in the mail and my insurer was demanding another $200 on my already inflated premiums. I went to Kanetix and used their car insurance comparison service, and was I ever pleased! I found another reputable company that's willing to insure me and my car for $450 less per year. I should do this every year:)
At 20 years of age, when I purchased my first car, I visited the local insurance companies to get various quotes. With a relatively new car and no driving experience, the top 5 insurance firms in Canada gave me ridiculous quotes, on average about $6,000 per year.
