I agree.. best restaurant in Ireland. The food is sooo good. I bet most of the patrons aren’t veggie either. After myself and my new wife got married we went on a mini honey moon and she had just one request, take me to cafe paradiso!! So we stayed in the B&B above and we had breakfast lunch & dinner there for two nights. It was perfect!!

Simply the best vegetarian restaurant I’ve been to in years. I’m a vegetarian, but the three people I was with were not and they really enjoyed their meal there.

Forget vegetarian, vegan, or any other “ism”s or niche categories. Cafe Paradiso is the best RESTAURANT in Ireland.
Period.
Denis Cotter is a genius.
The food is out of this world, the place itself is a fantastic marriage of genuine knock-your-socks-off food and flavours and yet a really welcoming, non-pretentious, homely, easy atmosphere. A wonderful place to have lunch or dinner. It’s not cheap, but if you’re sceptical buy one of the fabulous books and spend a day trying to recreate just one recipe. There should be government grants for restaurants like cafe paradiso. I’d nearly move back to Cork just so I could eat there more often.
I believe they do B&B there now, which is one of my empty Life-Boxes, and it will be ticked.
The shame is, if for some reason CF were to close, it has no peer, at least that I am aware of, anywhere on the island of ireland. :(

Cafe Paradiso is the best vegetarian restaurant in Britain and Ireland. The food is of an incredible standard: imaginative, tasty, well presented. The atmosphere is friendly and intimate, the service spot on and the location fantastic. It’s not cheap but for this level of cooking it is certainly worth it. Vegetarian as it should be.

Café Paradiso is a vegetarian restaurant that produces exciting mainstream cooking that even the most committed of meateaters admit to eating every mouthful and it attracts people from all over Ireland - and beyond Ireland. It attracted me because im a hugh fan of Vegetarian food.

Probably the best known vegetarian restaurant in Ireland, Cafe Paradiso lives up to the hype and the cook books which bear its name.
Gorgeous, healthy, organic vegetarian food at reasonable prices served by attentive and friendly staff. I love Paradiso for an evening out with friends or family, as the friendly ambience brings on good times. It’s also great for impressing on a date too!
