Brambles Fram Shop & Food Hall

Wonderful Farm shop and food hall in durham, brambles farm shop is comparable to a small supermarket. Brambles farm shop has a butcher baker as well as selling fruit and vegetables, groceries, organic food, tinned foods, pre packed food and cooked meats. The pies are my favourite and I did my full weeks shopping for a very reasonable price. I would probably spend more on food shopping at a local supermarket and at least this way I am supporting local farms and food suppliers across the north east. We finished off our food shopping with a meal at brambles coffee shop and bought a christmas tree from poplar tree garden centre which are all on the same retail site. We loved the disabled access to all areas and friendly staff in the farm shop as much as anything. I live in newcastle and honestly dont mind travelling to durham for what i think is the best farm shop I have visited. One last point is to congratulate brambles farm shop on the money they have spent on decor. It is first class. Using beer barrels as shelving features and huge selections of food due to open well lit spaces means this place will take off
