As this is just along the road, we tend to order take away, but this is a beautifully decorated restaurant inside and out, the food is all freshly cooked and not too pricey, their specials are good value and for big eaters the eat as much as you want is excellent value (think it was around £14 a head) all freshly cooked to order which is far more appetising than some of the all you can eat buffets where you don't know how long the food has been standing and who has been touching it!!! if i had to point out a negative, some of the more senior staff speak to their waiters/waitresses appaulingly!

in my opinion this is the best chinese restaurant in county durham. the food is on scale with anywhere else and the service is first class. the great decor and lovely atmosphere make you want to eat in the wok inn every night. wonderfully fresh food and a huge choice of everything you could possibly eat. lunchtime buffet, evening romantic meals, special events and even takeaways, this place is busy but is large enough to accommodate. ensure you book early though. last new years eve they took over 250 bookings. the wok inn brandon durham is the place we always go for birthdays or anniversaries.
