We went here for a meal. It is very easy to access - on a junction of major roads in the area - good access to motorways. Good sized car park - no trouble parking.
We went for an advertised Carvery Special - £2.99! The restaurant we had to go to was upstairs - so not sure how it would be for the disabled. The meal was great - the meat was superbly tender, but the veg was VERY al dente. There were a lot of people in taking advantage of the cheap price - and we wondered if they weren’t keeping up with the veg and serving it before it was really ready.
The meat was served for you - choice of 3 meats - and you helped yourself to the veg.
Starters were £1.99 and desserts were also £1.99. My husbands pint of beer cost more than his mealWoud go here again and hope the veg is cooked a bit more next time!”
This place is situation on the very edge of Chester near the main motorway intersections. It is very convenient if you are visiting Chester Business Park, the homes of RBS, MBNA and M&S Money. Don’t expect this to be a great location for the city centre though - it’s a good 10 minute drive away - although there is a fairly regular bus service.
The place itself is just like any other Holiday Inn - clean and fairly comfortable but nothing spectacular. It has a bar which has an outdoor court yard - the drinks are expensive though. Have never been impressed with the food here - the chefs seem to change regularly and the consistency and quality is not really up to much - again it is also quite expensive.
This is a good cheap option if you’re not bothered about being near the city centre - but there are similarly priced hotels in the city centre which are better.

Everything you need in one place. Fabulous and cheap. All teh staff are friendly and helpful and if you need anything they are more than happy to sort you out. They usually have a restaraunt attatched to them which is good for meals. Excellent for singles, couples and families.

We stayed in an executive room recently, and it was an absolutley fantastic room. It was really clean, new and looked exactly like in the photo, the rooms were cleaned each day without fail.
The restaurant proved to be a great fallback as it was late and we were all hungry, The service was shockingly brilliant - the waitress should be working in Clardiges or somewhere.
The quality of the meal was fantastic in one word.
Whilst there, we also used the swimming pool both that and the changing rooms were new.
So if your going to Chester, or Cheshire oaks - Get yourself booked in.
