Banging DJ's great food and stunningly efficient staff.....this place has it cracked if you're in East London

I’m not a member of this club which promises to “combine the best of a private members’ club with your own London office”, so I can’t comment on value for money or anything like that, but I have visited a couple of times and I do like the look and feel of the place.
Unlike the traditional, stuffy ‘gentleman’s’ style clubs Alfred Place is very airy and bright, so there’s no dusty libraries or old duffers sat round reading a copy of The Times while sipping on a brandy, just nice open meeting /function rooms as well private work areas (and lots of wi-fi of course)...the perfect spot for the freelancer who doesn’t want to work out of their bedroom anymore.
My only criticism would be the bar/restaurant area which didn’t have much of a vibe to it when I was there, although it was pretty empty, so maybe it get a bit more lively in the evening.
